This quilt was the first of two that I created using what I call “wonky” geese. Rather than the traditional flying geese pattern that has two half square triangles, one side of this wonky goose is an elongated triangle giving a totally different look to a traditional favorite.
I used the beautiful Hypereal Garden fabric collection in Forest from Art Gallery for this quilt and I love the soft pinks and greens with the white background. You can find this fabric here. Or if you are in the Santa Barbara area, Roxanne’s in Carpinteria carries this line and many more beautiful fabrics!
I completed a pattern for this quilt which is available in my Etsy shop if you don’t want to try the math yourself. It is fat quarter friendly although I used half yard pieces for more geese in the same fabric on this one.
I am linking up to Finish it up Friday at Crazy Mom Quilts and Find a Friend Friday at Sew Many Ways. AND Sew and Tell Friday at AmyLouWhoSews! Lots of cool stuff on both those blogs so if you have a minute or two, check it out. Thanks for the linky parties!
Thanks for checking in.
